Job Description
The Logistics and Facilities Manager supervises contractor personnel involved in logistics support operations. The manager interacts regularly with military and government civilians at NTTC Lackland, coordinates with personnel at CENSECFOR Headquarters, and collaborates with other agencies to fulfill daily duties. The role requires understanding the requirements of applicable organizations within the Air Force (AF) Air Base Wing Civil Engineering Corps, especially regarding Environmental Management System (EMS) frameworks. The manager will assist in supervising environmental quality program compliance and the budgeting process, focusing on the three pillars of environmental management: compliance, conservation, and pollution prevention. A comprehensive understanding of the AF Base Comprehensive Asset Management Plan (BCAMP) system is essential, as it integrates physical planning, land use, base layout, facilities, transportation, and strategic basing plans for NTTC Lackland.
Qualifications
- Monitor and serve as the primary staff expert for maintenance, management, and logistical support functions.
- Manage equipment and facility maintenance schedules, facility management, and daily logistics operations supporting NTTC Lackland.
- Review and analyze mission objectives to determine required support, coordinating with internal and external units to ensure adequate provision of facilities, supplies, equipment, and services. Evaluate plans for impact and feasibility.
- Establish logistics support procedures, including receipt, inventory, issue, and accountability of Resource Requirement List (RRL) consumables, equipment, contract services, and deployment of GSA fleet vehicles.
- Develop and maintain records for turnover, including final reports, processes for future use, and lessons learned.
- Track and schedule vehicle maintenance, including preventive and corrective services.
- Maintain vehicle gas cards and ensure all drivers are qualified and licensed.
- Generate reports on vehicle usage and maintenance to support NTTC DOT and CO.
- Oversee the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) process, including equipment/property turn-in, scheduling, tracking, and inventory updates.
- Coordinate Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) compliance per base policies, including AUL maintenance and HAZMIN.
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least two (2) years' experience in logistics and/or facilities management, or at least six (6) years' experience in the field, preferably in a Navy or Marine Corps environment.
- At least two (2) years' supervisory experience in logistics and/or facilities management.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret directives, regulations, and policies for problem-solving.
- Ability to obtain a Favorable Tier 3 Background Investigation.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on Government contracts.
- Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
