Logistics Planning Analyst

Location: Lafayette, IN (On-site)

Job Type: W2 Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, day shift

Pay Rate: $22-24 hourly with optional benefits packages including 401k, PTO, and medical insurance

Task Breakdown

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials between departments according to production schedules.
• Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules.
• Compile reports on inventory levels, costs, and other logistics metrics.

Surrounding Team & Key Projects

• The role is part of a team of 4–5 individuals focused on logistics planning and supply chain coordination.

Purpose of This Team

• To ensure efficient flow of materials and work across departments, supporting production schedules and inventory management.

Education & Experience

• Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree in a relevant field accepted with up to 2 years of experience).
• 2–4 years of related experience required.
• Internships are accepted as job experience.
• Comparable roles: Planning Analyst, Support Analyst.

• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Power BI

Soft Skills (Required)

• Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing materials.
• Ability to review production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and material requirements.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Presentation skills (A huge plus!)
