Job Overview
This position involves developing business logistics services for a portfolio of customer accounts. The role requires responding effectively to the customers' freight and logistics needs. The individual will have full oversight, autonomy, and authority to negotiate pricing and accept or decline business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow business with clients, negotiate pricing, ensure rate competitiveness, and regularly assess service quality.
- Monitor and evaluate the customer portfolio, strengthen existing relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
- Utilize brokerage pricing techniques, tools, and market knowledge to secure new business and expand the customer base.
- Assess risks, prevent unforeseen issues, and recommend solutions to protect the company's interests.
- Support carrier management duties as needed by the business.
- Achieve monthly individual goals aligned with or exceeding the branch's annual operating plan (AOP).
