What You Will Do:
Establish standard work and assists in training
Coordinate equipment and labor to minimize downtime
May back up forklift operator for shipping and receiving as needed
Participate in developing, deploying, and using continuous improvement systems
Identify safety hazards through safety audits and initiatives.
Report any performance issues with team to the shift's Team Leader
Communicate maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality or productivity to supervisor
Continuously identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination
Ensure constant communication with management on daily activities and challenges
Assist with onboarding and training new hires
Follow the proper procedures as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
Ensure the warehouse is clean and maintained
Other duties as assigned
Position Details:
Plant location: San Bernardino, CA
Work week and shift: 2nd shift: Monday – Friday, 1:30pm – 10:00pm, with occasional overtime as needed
Compensation package offered: $28.00 / hour + $1.00 / hour shift differential
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

Physical Demands:
This position requires regularly lifting and carrying 50lbs
Preferred Requirements
Prior SAP experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
TPM knowledge and experience
Familiarity with inbound and outbound warehouse processes
Familiarity with basic transportation processes
Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma systems
Previous forklift operating experience
Experience in a lead or back up lead role
Ability to solve problems and devise methods and procedures
Excellent communication skills
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
$28.00 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
