Job Family Supply Chain and Logistics

The logistics department in Daimiel factory is responsible for planning and executing logistics activities, creating production schedules, and fulfilling production plans by ensuring material availability and enhancing competitiveness across the full Supplier Quality and Development (SQD). As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for inbound logistics supply from suppliers to the factory, including delivery and optimization within the factory.

Responsibilities:

Operational buying:

  • Purchase order release (Bill of materials, Transport equipment, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul items), order confirmation, delivery follow-up - coordination with Maersk logistics service provider team, exception handling (based on defer & cancel requests).
  • Handling of park & block invoices.
  • Managing non-conformity (NC) items and supporting the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Setting up master data & component maintenance input for planners.
  • Supporting customs clearance processes.
  • Supporting new product projects (new materials from test papers, indirect materials, hand tools, managing revisions on new parts, etc.).
  • Excess and obsolete stock handling:

  • Short-term risk mitigation (air freight, stock sharing within internal teams, one shared plan OSP swap).
  • Long-term risk mitigation (finding alternative sources, increasing supplier capacity).
  • Managing inbound risks (Quality Before Delivery - QBD 1-3).
  • Logistics improvement:

    • Optimizing logistics performance with suppliers and procurement (pull concept, MOQ, packing, lead times, etc.).

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • At least 3 years' experience working in industrial warehouses or logistics networks, with knowledge of order management processes and flows.
    • Proficiency in SAP and intermediate skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to adapt to new concepts and initiatives.
    • Capacity to meet new requirements.
