Client in CA seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work in a PICU setting.

- Support staff: 2 teams, each with: 1 attending, 3 NP, 1 fellow- Overnight there's 1 attending, 2 NPs- Amount of coverage needed per month: Minimum 4 12-hour shifts- Patients per day: 17-18- Patient population/age: Majority peds, neonatal(8 beds), 8% of total population is adult congenital- Department description:- 350 surgical cases/year- Majority of patients are surgical- Patients include: a significant heart failure population, patients on vents, patients who are pre & post op, patients with cardiac catheterization, many patients on ECMO, many pre-post op transplant patientsExperience with ecmo preferredWe are looking for a healthcare professional who is ready to provide exceptional patient care in this contract/travel role.
