We are currently looking for an experienced Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in New York City. Details For this Opportunity: -EXPERIENCE: Seeking highly qualified candidates who have 2+ years of solid Cardiothoracic surgery ICU experience. Experience with ECMO preferred. Providers will need to be very comfortable working in the ICU without needing any on the job training. -SETTING: This is a 10 bed ICU and the NP/PA is responsible for all ICU patients and any critical care consults related to cardiothoracic surgery. They will be required to see a late consult if it were to come from the Cath lab after 4:30pm if there is no additional coverage to see the patient. -SHIFTS: The coverage model is blocks of 3 12 hour shifts in a row ( 6:30am-6:30pm) (Days only) (Weekends and holidays variable) -LENGTH: 3 Month assignment with potential to extend to 6 months -LICENSE/CERTS: Must have ACTIVE NY license and Acute Care certificationPartner with your VISTA recruiter today to find your perfect job!
