• Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts with 1-2 weekday calls and 1 weekend per month
• Average 1 surgery per day
• 100% hospital-based practice
• Patient mix: 95% pediatric, 4% neonate, 1% adult
• Extensive cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures required
• Advanced cardiac procedures including valve repair and aneurysm repair
• Experience with congenital defect repairs needed
• No ER call required
