Facility Details

• Annual ED Volume: 25,000

• Hospital Beds: 75

• ED Beds: 21

• Patients per Hour: ~2.0

• EMR: Epic

• Trauma Designation: Not Designated (Regional Transfer System)

• Specialty Backup: Internal Medicine, Cardiology

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care for emergency presentations across all acuity levels

• Supervise APPs during shifts

• Respond to in-house codes in collaboration with the EM and HM teams

Provider Requirements

• License: Active Louisiana Medical License

• DEA/CSR: Active Louisiana DEA & Controlled Substance Registration

• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS (All Required)

  • ATLS Required if non-ABEM/Non-AOBEM

• Board Certification:

  • Preferred: ABEM / AOBEM

  • Accepted: IM/FM with valid ACLS & ATLS

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience

• Start Date Readiness: October availability preferred

Credentialing

• Temporary Privileges: Yes (30-day turnaround for clean files)

• Full Privileges: ~60 days

• Go-Live Date: September 30, 2025
