Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Anesthesiology in Altoona, PA - Alumni Healthcare Staffing : Job Details

Requirements: Board Certified/Eligible, ACLS, BLS, PALS, Active PA License or IMLC LOQ. Schedule: Majority of day shifts are 6:30 – 3:30pm but covering late shifts (until 5:30pm or 7:30pm) is expected. Must be open to take call and/or work call shifts. Please see below for additional job details. 12 ORs and 15-16 Anesthetizing Locations Intensivists Run Codes Support: 24/7 Intensivist and Neuro 21 CRNAs and 8 MDs in Practice Must be comfortable with General Cases, OB, Peds. General Surgery, GI, Basic Peds, Neuro, OB, GYN, Trauma (Level III), ortho, urology. Regarding peds percentage: only healthy peds. The majority of peds cases are ENT (mostly ear tubes and T&As) and occasional ortho (closed reduction and casting) Overnight call shifts and weekend call shifts are also available and site needs candidates who are also willing to take call shifts in addition to day shifts.
