We are actively seeking a highly qualified Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a robust 12-week locum tenens assignment in New York, beginning Sep 1, 2025. This role at a not-for-profit, community healthcare facility involves a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts, encompassing both day and night slots from 5p-5a and 7a-7p. The facility is recognized for its comprehensive emergency, acute care, critical care services, and is a fully equipped Trauma Center. Job Details Location: New York Facility Type: Community Healthcare Facility Start Date: Sep 1, 2025 LOA: 12 weeks Provider Type Needed: Hospitalist Physician Assistant Schedule: Rotating shifts (5p-5a, 7a-7p); 2 weeks per month, typically scheduled 1 week on, 1 week off Responsibilities and Duties Provide patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on acute care, critical care, and trauma Manage patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-ups Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive healthcare Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and management of patient records Adhere to the facility's standards of care and operational protocols Additional Information Must be nationally certified and hold a valid New York license Required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Board certification in Internal Medicine preferred Candidates must explain any CV gaps over 30 days Availability required for specific dates in July with flexibility for 2 additional weeks per month Apply now to learn more!
