Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients alongside a team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Job Details Location: Illinois Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: September 1, 2025 End Date: December 1, 2025 Shift: 12-hour shifts, day/night, Sunday through Saturday Job Requirements Active Physician Assistant License in Illinois Minimum of 1 year of experience in Critical Care Medicine Ability to manage 5-10 patients per shift Proficiency in critical care procedures such as Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement, arterial line placement, and hemodialysis (HD) line placement Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients in collaboration with physicians, other APPs, and the e-ICU team Participate in ICU rounds at 10 AM and 10 PM Perform critical care procedures including CVC placement, arterial line placement, and HD line placement Collaborate with on-site physicians, other APPs, and/or e-ICU as needed Benefits 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision About GHR With over 30 years of healthcare staffing experience, GHR Healthcare is your trusted partner in finding the perfect contract or permanent role in the healthcare industry.
