Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitor and manage patients in the cardiovascular/cardiothoracic ICU and step-down units.
- Operate equipment such as balloon pumps, central lines, and chest tubes.
- Handle patient admissions, discharges, and consults.
- Document and update patient records on the Epic EMR system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Additional Information
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Must hold a valid PA license.
- Prior experience in a similar setting is essential; no new graduates.
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
