Opportunity Specifics: Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Acute Care Hospital Practice: CRNA Only Dates: ASAP - ongoing Schedule: 3 weeks on / 1 week off 7 am – 3 pm Monday through Friday Call 3 pm – 7 am Number of providers during the day: 3 Cases: Endo, OB/GYN, Peds, ENT, General, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Podiatry Spinals, Blocks, Epidurals - must be proficient: Yes Job Description: Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Candidate Requirements: Active Kansas License Graduate of an accredited program Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS 1621134EXPTEMP Top Reasons to Choose a Locum Tenens Assignment Avoid the hassle of permanent relocation by taking on temporary assignments in various locations, experiencing different communities without long-term commitment.
