Locksmith Technician - Insync Staffing : Job Details

Title: Locksmith Field Technician Pay: $22.00 Hours: Monday Friday; 8AM 5PM (Must be available for overtime, weekends, second shifts, or on-call rotation as needed) Location: Riverside, CA (Covering zip codes 92501 through 92504) Overview This field-based technician role supports security hardware such as safes, vaults, locks, and teller equipment. Candidates must have mechanical aptitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently across various bank and retail environments. Job Description

• Perform on-site maintenance and intermediate-level repair of locks, safes, vaults, under-counter teller equipment, and ATM lock systems
• Install and replace locks, batteries, and door hardware (mechanical/electronic)
• Drill and clean safe deposit boxes; duplicate keys
• Clear jams in After Hours Depositories
• Use hand and power tools; operate ladders as needed
• Maintain positive customer interaction throughout service calls and meetings
• Manage and prioritize service calls from start to closure
• Maintain inventory of parts and support service team with inventory management
• Function well in a team and with minimal supervision

Required Skills

• 1+ year experience in lock, safe, or vault maintenance and troubleshooting
• Intermediate mechanical skills
• Strong organizational and appointment-setting abilities
• Intermediate PC proficiency (Microsoft Office, smartphone apps)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable transportation for the first 90 days of apprentice program
• Ability to work in tight spaces, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate in various weather conditions
