In this role, you'll be the linchpin between product development, engineering, and localization teams, ensuring products are successfully adapted for Spanish-speaking markets. This is a hybrid role that requires time every week onsite in the Seattle area.
Responsibilities
- Manage localization programs and projects, overseeing the full localization lifecycle from initial planning to delivery.
- Act as a liaison, serving as the primary point of contact between engineering, product, marketing, and the localization team.
- Develop and implement localization strategies, creating scalable and efficient processes and leveraging technology to improve quality and speed.
- Provide technical expertise and support for localization tools, platforms, and workflows, while also troubleshooting any issues.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on the status and success of localization efforts, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Native-level fluency in Spanish is required.
- A minimum of four years of experience in localization program or project management, with a strong understanding of market localization.
- Proven experience with localization tools and platforms, such as CAT tools, TMS, and QA tools.
- A strong technical background with a good grasp of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
