Local Driver - Waste Connections : Job Details

Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to transport waste materials to designated disposal sites- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safe operation- Secure waste containers properly on the truck to prevent spills or accidents during transportation- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of waste reciprocals- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner- Adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, other drivers, and pedestrians- Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents- Report any mechanical issues or vehicle malfunctions to the appropriate personnel f...Driver, Manufacturing, Waste
