Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services to students for a 9-month academic contract. The SLP will support students' communication abilities by assessing speech, language, and related disorders, designing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educational staff and families to ensure success in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' needs for speech-language services related to educational goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other school personnel for coordinated service delivery.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of measurable speech-language goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy plans, progress notes, and IEP data.
  • Educate school staff and families on communication strategies to support student learning and participation.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive technology when appropriate.

Qualifications:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (CFs considered).Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and documentation.CPR and First Aid certification preferred.Work Schedule:Follows the school district's academic calendarTypically Monday through Friday during school hours
