Job Description & RequirementsJob Title: Registered Respiratory TherapistLocation: Bronx, NY Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 days/week)Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $65 - $70 per Hour on W2
Job Summary: we are is seeking Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) to join our Respiratory Therapy team. This is a critical role responsible for delivering respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a high-acuity hospital environment, including emergency and intensive care settings.
Key Responsibilities:Provide general and critical care respiratory therapy to adult and pediatric patients.Perform assessments, therapeutic procedures, and monitor ventilator settings and patient responses.Deliver emergency respiratory care in trauma and resuscitation settings.Administer care in specialized units such as NICU, PICU, MICU, and Emergency Room.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the following areas:
Licensure & Certifications (All Required Unless Otherwise Stated):
Registered Respiratory Therapist (ARRT) – National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Valid NYS License to practice as a Respiratory Therapist – NYSED
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required for NICU assignments
Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) – Preferred
Primary Source Verification of credentials required
