WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Pediatrics Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Mountainside, NJ.

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 3x12.
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.
• Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.
• Initiates corrective action whenever the patient.

Job Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of NJ.

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.

• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.

• Pediatric experience required.

• EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience required.

• Completion of at least one travel assignment.

• 1+ year of pediatric experience and long-term care experience (adult or pediatric).
