Medasource is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Miami, Florida.

MedSurg RN – Miami, FLContract Duration: 1 Year (with potential for extension)Shift: Day Shift – Rotating 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, including holidays and weekendsLocation: Miami, Florida

Top Requirements:

• Licensure: Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in acute care or similar settings
• Certifications: Current BLS, CPR, and ACLS
• Education: Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (must pass federal background investigation)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and administer medications
• Perform IV therapy and monitor telemetry
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Delegate tasks to assistive personnel and document care in EMR
• Assist with patient transport and emergency response procedures
• Perform DHT insertion, chest tube and trach care, dressing changes, wound therapy, Foley catheter procedures, and blood transfusions
• Support procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, EKGs, orthostatic BP, Doppler assessments, and medication administration via BCMA
