Prime Staffing is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in New York, New York.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate ICU RN to join our critical care team. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill or unstable patients, working closely with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor vital signs, ventilators, and life-support equipment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and provide emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on complex care plans.
• Educate patients' families on conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• 1+ year ICU or critical care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

BSN IS REQUIRED2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN ICU IS REQUIRED
