Location: Mayers Memorial District Hospital - 43563 Hwy 299 East, Fall River Mills, CA 96028 Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Contract (13 weeks) Shift: NOC Shift 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM Weekly Schedule: Includes weekends and holidays as needed EMR: Cerner About the Role Mayers Memorial District Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department RN for our Night Shift team. As part of our Critical Access Hospital, you'll play a key role in delivering urgent care to a diverse patient population, often under pressure. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to patient-first care, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and prioritize care based on severity
• Provide prompt, high-quality care in emergency situations, including trauma response
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and other care team members
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders
• Initiate and assist with emergency resuscitative measures
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
• Ensure a clean, stocked, and safe work environment
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Required within 1 year of hire
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Required within 1 year of hire
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
