WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Ambulatory Surgery for a local contract nursing job in Brooklyn, New York.

WCS is seeking an RN for the Operating Room on a local contract at a prestigious hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 7am - 5:30pm.

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a 15+ room, multi-specialty operating room at a major academic medical center.

• Assist with surgical cases across specialties including trauma, general surgery, urology, GYN, robotics (DaVinci Xi), plastics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and thoracic.

• Float to the Ambulatory Surgery Unit or other perioperative areas as needed.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and proper documentation.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to deliver safe and efficient patient care.

Job Requirements:

• 4 years of OR nursing experience preferred.

• Previous travel nursing experience required.

• Trauma experience preferred.

• Experience in General Surgery, Urology, GYN Surgery, Robotic Surgeries (DaVinci Xi – all specialties), Plastics, Pediatric Surgeries, Orthopedics, and Thoracic Surgery preferred.

• All other OR specialty experience welcomed.

• Active New York State RN Licensure required.

• BLS certification required.
