WCS is seeking an RN CTOR for a local contract at a prestigious hospital in Rockville Centre, NY.

Job Function:

• Day Shift or Night Shift.
• 3x12.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to an assigned group of patients.

• Assess and consider each patient's stage of development across the lifecycle.

• Diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems.

• Deliver care supportive to or restorative of life and overall well-being.

• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and their families.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of in-house orientation program.

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nursing program (BSN preferred).

• Completion of annual mandatory hospital/nursing in-service education.

• Clinical experience relevant to assigned area of practice.

• Computer proficiency.

• Cardiac experience preferred.

• Current and valid New York State RN license/registration.

• Must have OR experience-open heart surgery.
