Nurse Practitioner - AllergyAbout the Role

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Allergy & Immunology to join our growing team in the Bronx. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity offering both full-time and part-time schedules, designed for providers who are passionate about improving patients' lives while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive allergy assessments, including patient history and physical exams.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic conditions (rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, anaphylaxis, etc.).
• Order and interpret allergy testing (skin, blood, spirometry, etc.).
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including allergen immunotherapy.
• Educate and counsel patients/families on allergen avoidance, medications, and lifestyle management.
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers for continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active NP license in New York State.
• National NP certification (FNP, ANP, or equivalent).
• Prior experience in Allergy/Immunology highly preferred (minimum 1 year).
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
