Pay Rate:$70 - $71 per hour on W2

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Nuclear Medicine Department at Elmhurst Hospital Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and operating imaging equipment in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:Perform nuclear medicine procedures including imaging, radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration.Operate nuclear medicine cameras and related imaging equipment safely and accurately.Ensure proper documentation of procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital protocols and state regulations.Follow all radiation safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and self.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.Attend and complete required training, including a two-week EPIC system onboarding (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required by the department schedule.

Required Skills:Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Experience working with relevant imaging equipment in an acute care environment.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting.

EPIC

Certification:Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist License issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).

ARRT certification is required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
