WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Imaging Center in Rochester, NY.

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 4x10 or 5x8.
• Performs MRI imaging procedures.
• Operates and/or prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures.3. Assists, prepares and positions patients as required to perform MRI procedures.
• Assists in administering opaque media and or loading power injector under aseptic technique.
• Evaluates radiographs for technical acceptability and ensures images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.

• ARRT certification required.

• Graduate of an AMA- or JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

• New York State IV Certification required.

• BLS certification required.

• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
