Medical Support Assistant

Local position

Location: Dulce, NM 87528

Pay rate: $23 per hour

Schedule: 8 hours (8:00 am to 4:30 pm)

Contract length: 1 year; with the option to extend

Responsibilities:

• Greeting patients and visitors, checking patients in for appointments, verifying demographics and insurance information.
• Appointment scheduling.
• Phone management.
• Data entry.
• Assisting as needed at vaccination clinics by helping with set-up performing patient registration.
• Administrative tasks.
• Health information management.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Call center skills (patience, communication, listening, composure, resilience, and persuasion skills) - a portion of work may be conducted via established protocols and scripts
• Provide onsite support experience
• Health care training and experience
