WCS is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a prestigious hospital located in New Hyde Park, New York.

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 4x10: 7:30am - 5pm.
• Performs mammogram imaging procedures.
• Demonstrates competency in mammography positioning, compression & technique factor.
• Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled as specified by the department SOP.
• Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technician.

• Must hold AART Certification.

• Current New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography.

• Spanish-speaking candidates strongly preferred.

• Must comply with MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) requirements.

Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
