Position Overview:

As a CNA at Tallavera, you will provide patient-centered care tailored to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of adult and geriatric populations. Your role is vital in promoting a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, skin care, and mobility support as per individual care plans.Safety & Environment: Ensure a clean and safe environment. Respond promptly to call lights and alarms, implement fall prevention strategies, and report safety concerns or equipment issues.Nutrition Support: Assist with meal preparation and feeding. Respect resident preferences and dietary needs in accordance with care plans.Rehabilitation Support: Encourage and assist with range of motion exercises, ambulation, proper body alignment, and use of assistive devices.Communication & Reporting: Report changes in residents' conditions, concerns, and refusals to the Charge Nurse. Ensure accurate and timely documentation as per protocol.Respect & Dignity: Uphold residents' rights and provide care that honors their individuality and dignity.Qualifications:Certification: Valid New York State Nursing Assistant CertificationExperience: Minimum 1 year of LTC (long-term care) experience; must be certified for at least one yearCertification: Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI only)Education: High School Diploma or GED requiredCompensation & Schedule:Pay: $25/hourStart Dates: ASAPSchedule: Full-time and part-time positions availableShifts: All shifts available; must be able to work every other weekend and holidays
