Local CDL Driver - Waste Connections : Job Details

Waste Connections is looking for a safety conscious CDL Garbage Route Driver for our location in Carson, Washington. Schedule is Monday - Friday, with occassional Saturdays. Start time is 6:00 AM and runs until route is complete. Average work day is 9-11 hrs. Starting wage is $36.59/ HR - Safety Sensitive Position: Yes. Job Description:As a CDL Garbage Route Driver, you need to be reliable, safety-minded, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. You should also be highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization skills. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain professional and cooperative relationships with both customers and colleagues. In this position, you are responsible for collecting waste from residential and commercial customers and transporting it safely in a rear load truck to a landfill and/or transfer station.
