Loan Documentation Specialist (Opener) - Residential - Bank of Springfield : Job Details

Open and prepare new mortgage loan files in the loan origination system (LOS). Review initial loan applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy. Order and follow up on third-party services, including credit reports, verifications of employment, title work, appraisals, and flood certifications. Prepare and send initial disclosures, as well as any other required disclosures, in accordance with TRID and other regulatory guidelines. Confirm proper documentation is included for all borrowers, co-borrowers, and property types. Maintain accurate and organized electronic loan files to ensure timely processing. Communicate with loan officers, processors, and underwriters to resolve missing or incomplete information. Track and monitor receipt of documentation and escalate issues as needed to maintain workflow efficiency. Stay current on lending regulations, compliance updates, and internal procedures.
