Loading/Unloading Forklift Operator - V&S Galvanizing : Job Details

V&S Galvanizing, LLC has over 100 years of experience in Hot Dip Galvanizing and we are the leader in the steel coating industry. Today we operate over 9 galvanizing plants in the U.S., featuring exceptional service to small fabricators as well as companies known worldwide. We have an open position for Forklift Operator at V&S Taunton Galvanizing, located in Taunton, Massachusetts. Duties:

• Loading/unloading incoming and outgoing materials using forklift
• Preparation and staging of material for shipping

Experience and Skills:

• Experience building long, heavy load like steel beams (preferred)
• Ability to read paperwork/shipping orders
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
• inventory control experience (preferred)
• MA hoisting engineer category 1c or higher, or ability to pass required state safety training for our in service training program
