This role is ideal for individuals who are not only mechanically adept but also proficient in electrical tasks, essential for the installation and maintenance of various types of dock equipment, including levelers, vehicle restraints, and doors. About the Role:

As a Loading Dock Equipment Installer specializing in electrical work, you will be primarily responsible for the electrical installations associated with setting up essential dock equipment such as dock levelers, vehicle restraints, control boxes, dock shelters, and sectional doors. You will use your advanced electrical skills to ensure all installations are conducted proficiently and safely, adhering to all regulatory standards and company guidelines. When you're not completing electrical work, you'll be assisting the rest of the installation team with assembly, mounting, troubleshooting or other tasks needed for successful completion of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent and support our company in the field through product installations, focusing on electrical work.
• Perform detailed electrical tasks during installation processes, including wiring, conduit installations, and electrical panel setup.
• Ensure all electrical connections meet quality standards for safety and functionality.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and test all installed equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide on-site guidance and training to less experienced team members on electrical safety and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and safety standards related to electrical work.
• Travel to multiple job sites as required.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical background with specialized skills in electrical installations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Reliable transportation to access different job sites within the region.
• Strong work ethic and a proven track record of reliability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Willingness to train and collaborate closely with other team members.
• Required to climb and stand on ladders, sometimes for extended periods.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Skills Needed:

• Extensive electrical experience in commercial settings.
• Experience with welding is a plus.
• Operating equipment (scissor lifts, skid steer, etc.).

Work Schedule:

• Full-time shifts are available between the business hours of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime.
