DOEPOSITION SUMMARY Responsible for the upkeep of Crystal Mountain Resort parking areas and roads with close attention to detail. This position needs to be able to properly assess road conditions and make appropriate maintenance decisions based on current weather conditions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Clear all lots (A, B, C, D, E, f, G, & H) and fire laneMaintain all lots so employees and customers can park safely.Operate Crystal Mountain vehicles and equipment, including heavy equipment in safe and efficient manner.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum age of 18Basic knowledge of equipment operationEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Experience operating medium to large size equipment preferred.Basic knowledge of hydraulic controlsMust have a valid driver license.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and smell.The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects tools or controls. Must be capable of frequent wrist, elbow and should twisting and pulling movements.Must be capable of occasionally lifting and pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs. , and frequently lifting, pushing, or pulling, and carrying up to 40lbs.Must be capable of climbing movements, walking on uneven terrain, and walking on snow and ice, and operating snow vehicles. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.WORKING CONDITIONS Indoor / Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and in precarious places.Hazardous Materials / Noise: Employee will often be in contact with hazardous substances. They will be occasionally exposed to extreme hot/cold and wet conditions, noise, fumes or airborne particles, and the risk of electric shock. The noise level in the workplace is usually loud.
