The Loader Operator will be responsible for keeping the bins full for concrete production and maintain loader and conveyors.

• Operate front-end loader to transport materials to and from storage and processing areas.
• Operate front-end loader to feed conveyors.
• Inspect equipment prior to operation for any safety or maintenance issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on the loader such as lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Create and maintain inclines and ramps to excavated materials.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

• The employee is regularly required to sit; stand, walk, climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to balance and talk or hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
