- Place personal safety and safety of others before all else.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Utilize 988 Loader to feed Telsmith Crushing Plant with recycled concrete and asphalt rubble.
- Load finished aggregate into customer trucks when required.
- Inspect and manage inbound rubble stream and stockpiles.
- Assist the crushing plant operator with routine maintenance, repairs, and mechanical inspections.
- Perform daily safety equipment inspections and routine loader maintenance.
- Develop skills through onsite training to become the backup Telsmith crusher plant operator.
- Maintain environmental records and BMP infrastructure throughout the branch site.
- Work independently and in a team environment, communicating effectively with team members and customers.
- Align work with Graniterock's Strategic Priorities and business objectives.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Skills: Loader operation, welding, mechanical skills, safety-conscious, self-motivated, excellent customer service skills.
- Experience: 3-5 years of Loader operator experience with 980 or 988 (or equivalent) loaders.
- Welding and mechanical skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- 8 years of Loader Operator experience and crusher experience.
- Valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Must be a team player, reliable, and have a positive attitude.
