If you're driven by the passion to change lives, this is the place for you.We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a LNG Operator in our Whitewater, Wisconsin location.Job ResponsibilitiesThe LNG Operator supports the operation and maintenance of the LNG Plant (Liquefied Natural Gas) including the repair of all equipment associated with the liquefaction and vaporization of natural gas used for peak shaving. Operators can be called out at any time in addition to their regular rotating shift to respond to trouble calls.Monitor/operate/repair mechanical, electronic, air, temperature, pneumatic equipment for irregularities and proper operations to run optimal peak efficienciesProperly maintain, troubleshoot, and/or repair problems with plant equipment per maintenance schedule or as requiredMaintain fire protection equipment systemClimb the LNG Storage tank to check and maintain equipmentOperate and maintain plant equipment and systems to obtain acceptable / efficient operationTake daily readings, complete and send summaries of plant status as neededRespond to call outs as neededStart/Restart/Shutdown of plant per start up/ shutdown proceduresMake suggested edits to procedures as neededUse of Software such as, but limited to: Microsoft Suite, SAP, ARCOS, DCS, etc..Documentation of abnormal operating conditions, writing notifications and work orders to address. Upon completion of repairs, documenting repairs, tests, and closing out work orders in SAP and wherever else neededThe plant is a 24 hour operation, and will be staffed 24/7. At times of Vaporization and Liquefaction there may be a need for additional staff to be On-Call personnel to assist on shift operatorsTesting of combustible gas indicator system and safety alarms, practicing incipient fire proceduresPractice good housekeeping and maintain appearance of the plant and groundsRepair fence and security system as necessaryAssist in the training of outside agencies in the event of an emergency at the LNG PlantStore and order supplies as neededWorking with vendors and escorting them as neededComplete and maintain all required training, including, but not limited to, GTI LNG Plant Operator Certification, all regulatory required training, all position required qualifications/training, and all company/corporate required trainingThis LNG Operator basic schedule is a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, working 8 hours shifts.Minimum QualificationsCandidates may be required to demonstrate their ability to perform the physical functions of the position by completing a Physical Capacity EvaluationApplicant must have a valid driver's license and meet the company's requirements for drivingThe applicant must comply with DOT Part 199 pipeline drug and alcohol testing requirementsTesting RequirementsGas Operations Test (GOT):DAT-Mechanical Reasoning- Ability to understand mechanic concepts.
