LMSW Psychiatric Liaison - Valleywise Health : Job Details

Under the guidance of the Manager of Psychiatric Care Management and as an integral member of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, the LMSW Psychiatric Liaison delivers compassionate, high-quality social work services to adult, adolescent, and geriatric psychiatric patients. This dynamic role encompasses comprehensive psychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, individualized treatment planning, discharge coordination, psychotherapy, and utilization review. In addition, the Psychiatric Liaison takes the lead in navigating the court-ordered process, from conducting interviews and securing substitute witnesses to serving as the primary liaison with the Mental Health Court. This position is a blend of clinical expertise, advocacy, and coordination, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families facing mental health challenges.
