LLMSW in MICHIGAN (Paid position; FREE SUPERVISED HOURS) - University Home Care : Job Details

We are currently seeking a hospice MSW. Are you a compassionate and skilled therapist looking to make a difference in people's lives? We are seeking talented professionals to join our growing practice!

(Must be a limited license MSW in Michigan) Practice for LLMSW Clinicians and/or in person around Livonia, MI area!

YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR HOURS!!!

Seeking limited licensed MSW candidates who match any clinical specialties. Specialties can include:

• Child therapy including Autism
• Adolescent LGBTQ+
• End of Life counseling
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Grief counseling
• Geriatrics
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Strength-based counseling
• Motivational Interviewing
• Solution-Focused Therapy
• Mindfulness
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Psychoanalytic therapy
• Holistic and integrative therapies

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to patients and their families in a medical setting
• Conduct assessments to determine the psycho-social needs of patients
• Develop and implement care plans based on patient needs and goals
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Assist patients and families in accessing community resources and support services
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families
• Advocate for patients' rights and ensure appropriate care
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records
• Supervise and document limited license medical social workers during counseling sessions
• Review and meet with a CMSW to discuss your progress (once a month)

Qualification Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work
• Limited license MSW in Michigan
• Undergraduate degree
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality care
