Full-time Litigation Associate
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate with a strong background in commercial litigation to support our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation mattersDraft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsAssist in case strategy development and implementationParticipate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparationAttend court hearings, trials, and arbitrationsManage document review and production processesInteract with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnelCollaborate with partners and other associates on case managementStay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trendsContribute to business development efforts and client relationshipsMentor junior associates and paralegalsParticipate in firm committees and initiativesQualifications Required:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the California state bar4+ years of experience in commercial litigationStrong academic credentialsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSuperior analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectivelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCollaborative team player with the ability to work independentlyPreferred:
