Elite Reading Specialists Only: Reinvent Literacy Education at 2X the Speed

Imagine achieving more reading breakthroughs in 2 hours than most schools accomplish in a full day. At Alpha School, we're redefining what's possible in elementary reading through our groundbreaking 2-Hour Learning model and we need an exceptional reading specialist to help us scale this innovation.

Alpha isn't just another private school. We fuse AI-powered adaptive tools with expert human instruction to deliver personalized, high-impact literacy experiences. Our approach enables students to make measurable progress faster, without being trapped in rigid 6-hour schedules or outdated curricula.

In this role, you'll do more than teach; you'll design. Your work will drive literacy outcomes in individual classrooms while shaping a scalable reading program that can be implemented across multiple campuses. You'll lead engaging, tech-enhanced workshops, inspire young readers with smart motivational tactics, and collaborate with engineers to refine the tools that power our model.

Success in this role looks like measurable reading gains, enthusiastic student engagement, and actionable input that improves our AI-enhanced curriculum. If you're ready to scale your impact and help reinvent how kids learn to read, apply now.

HIRING IN THESE LOCATIONS:

What You Will Be Doing

  • Create personalized motivation systems that drive engagement through strategic gamification of literacy achievements
  • Leverage student performance analytics to optimize instruction and extract actionable insights for program enhancement
  • Partner with our engineering team to evaluate AI literacy tools and implement data-driven improvements
  • Develop scalable, adaptive content that creates personalized learning pathways for diverse student populations
What You Wont Be Doing
  • Following rigid, one-size-fits-all curricula that disregard student data and individual needs
  • Wasting valuable time on excessive administrative tasks, traditional lesson planning, or grading
  • Managing overcrowded classrooms with insufficient resources to drive meaningful outcomes
  • Spending more time on behavior management than on delivering exceptional reading instruction
  • Teaching in isolation without the opportunity to shape program development or technological innovation
