Linux/Murex Environment Support Engineer - Cybertec : Job Details

All roles have a potential of f-f interview in NYC (or possibly Jersey City) This contract has an initial duration of six months with a likely extension Key skills: Linux (basic scripting, but will be doing constant environment fixes, responding to tickets), Murex (3.152 GUI Level and Architecture Support), SQL and/or Sybase, Python (very helpful), Ansible and Tidal are plusses. This is for Equities/Derivatives/Fixed Income area but will be focused more on supporting environment than understanding finance. Location is New York City (can be hybrid: 2-3 days in NYC) or 100% Remote Hours can be 9-6, 7-4, or 11-7 (all EST), must be in USA about 1day/month on weekends Any visa status is fine but no H1b Senior candidates needed - Local candidates preferred, but not necessary (can do video interview for this one) This is for a foreign bank Linux/Murex Environment Support Engineer Responsibilities: - Responsible for support activities for Murex DEV and TEST environments (Refreshes, Debugging, BAU tasks) Skills: - Unix/Linux Knowledge - Shell/Bash/Python Scripting - Relational Database and SQL Knowledge (Sybase preferred) - MX.3 Environments Management/Deployment/Monitoring (L1/L2) - MX.3 Technical Architecture Knowledge Education: - Bachelor of Engineering or Science in Computer Science
