Linen Distribution Director - ARAMARK : Job Details

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Linen Distribution Director to join their team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC.

• Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers. Be responsive to customer needs.
• Monitor daily operations and supervise all linen distribution department employees.
• Plan and coordinate distribution within units at the facility.
• Order new linen and manage the relationship between the vendor and the client.
• Manage IPA and scrubEX software/equipment.
• Create data reports routinely and conduct quarterly meetings with the client.
• Orient and instruct new workers. Train them in the use of supplies by demonstrating use and explaining operating techniques to improve production and maintain workflow.
• With assistance from Human Resources, resolve personnel problems as needed.
• Manage linen inventories, establish par levels, and oversee the microfiber program and processing.
• Implement and monitor in-service education programs for Linen Distribution Services staff.
• Understand and control departmental expenses such as supplies and labor costs to maintain budget conditions.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal laws. Ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhere to ARAMARK's standards of operation and Business Conduct Policy. Maintain all necessary records and reports for compliance.
• Assist workers and perform operations as needed to maintain the production schedule.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
