Relief Cook Location: Sunnyside Adult Residential Facility – Torrance, CA Pay: $19.25-$20.50 per hour DOE Schedule: Full-Time | 4-2 schedule, 2 days 5:30am - 1:30pm and 2 days 9:30am - 5:30pm

Must be able to pass a background check, fingerprinting is required for this role

Sunnyside Adult Residential Facility (a large, unlocked mental health group home) is looking for a dependable Relief Cook.

Job Description

• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus.
• Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus.
• Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Prepare and serve bedtime snacks.
• Be sure that appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with the resident's meal tray.
• Prepare and serve substitute foods to residents who refuse foods served.

2 days 5:30am- 1:30pm and 2 days 9:30am - 5:30pm
