Job SummaryAs a Line Cook, you will be responsible for completing all assigned prep work, setting up the cook's station, maintaining product presentations, product quality, and cook time standards, and preparing all menu items according to the restaurant's recipes, plate presentations, and specifications. Duties of this position will include set up of equipment, verification of stock, the cleaning of cooking equipment, and preparing food items to specification while maintaining a clean work area. As a member of the Kitchen Team, you will cross-train and learn other stations and positions in the Kitchen.
RequirementsA minimum of 1 year's experience in the casual restaurant industry is preferred.
High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
Current food certification that meets state requirements is preferred.
Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Able to withstand comfortably the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
