The Role
The Cook is responsible for performing the full cooking process using the restaurants assigned recipes. This includes preparing and measuring ingredients; grilling, frying, broiling, baking and sauting; checking for the proper doneness and taste; adjusting seasoning and temperature for best results and set plate presentations. The cook is fully responsible for all aspects of the cooking station. Ensures that the cooking station and preparation area meets all set sanitation guidelines and proper product rotation. Our cooks work neatly and cleanly, and have the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.

The Requirements
As a Cook, we would love you to have:
At least 2 years of related high-volume experience
High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred
Maintains local health department food handlers certification up to date and current
Able to speak, comprehend and understand English
Able to talk and hear directions in a loud kitchen environment
A passion for food and the cooking position, exceptional work ethic and dedication
Knowledge and passion for Greek cuisine is a plus
Able to perform in a team serving environment
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays REQUIRED
Ability to stand during entire shift
Ability to stand for extended periods, and lift 30+ lbs
The Restaurant
