Light Equipment Operator/LEOII-STREETS - City of Clovis New Mexico : Job Details

Position involves some manual labor and the operation of equipment in moderate complexity involving the maintenance, repair, and construction of public thoroughfares and related improvements. Will be required to work infrequent overtime during evening hours, weekends, holidays plus stand-by on a rotation basis. - - This position has been classified as a safety sensitive position and is subject to our drug testing policy to include pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident for the following prohibited substances: marijuana, amphetamines, opioids, phencyclidine (PCP), and cocaine, as well as any drug not approved for medical use by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration or the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. - - Typical Duties Operates all light equipment such as backhoes, loaders, dump trucks, tractors with attachments and rollers.
