What We Do

We are looking for a marketer who's passionate about helping solve the global mental health crisis. This position is an individual contributor focused on building and managing the lifecycle marketing and automation for our new healthcare product, Calm Health. An ideal candidate will bring their knowledge in lifecycle marketing to strategize communication journeys, test and optimize creative, and drive operating efficiency to maximize business and human impact.

We are hiring remote workers for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City or Minneapolis areas. At this time, only candidates in these locations will be considered.

What You'll Do

  • Develop Responsive Email Templates: Code and maintain high-quality, responsive email templates using HTML and CSS to ensure optimal performance across various devices and email clients
  • Setup Marketing Campaigns in Iterable: Assist in the setup and maintenance of email and push campaigns, including segmentation creation, QA, scheduling, post-send analysis, etc.
  • Track Campaign Performance: Monitor campaign performance metrics in Looker, Mode, and/or Amplitude, providing actionable insights to improve future campaigns
  • Segmentation and Personalization: Create and manage audience segments based on behavior, demographic, and healthcare data to deliver personalized and relevant email content
  • Project Management: Use project management tools like Jira or Asana to organize and manage multiple campaigns and drip programs across different IPs/Domains
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Design and implement A/B tests to optimize email performance and drive continuous improvement through data-driven experimentation
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, customer support, and business development teams to ensure that lifecycle marketing campaigns are integrated and aligned with overall business objectives
  • Retention Strategies: Develop and implement strategies aimed at increasing customer lifetime value through targeted retention campaigns

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of email/automation/lifecycle marketing experience
  • Experience in creating user acquisition and/or engagement communication journeys via multiple channels (email vs. notifications vs. sms)
  • Extensive experience operating in ESP (e.g. Iterable, Salesforce)
  • Experience working with data scientists and engineers to figure out API and data requirements
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: willingness to roll up your sleeves and drive new initiatives forward
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects at the same time, with attention to detail

The base salary ranges below represent the low and high end of Calm's salary range for this position in various geographic locations. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.

In the United States, Calm has four geographic pay zones. For this position, the base pay ranges for candidates in each zone are:

$106,600 - $148,000

This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.
